What does a Battery Management System (BMS) do, and do I need one?
A BMS monitors and protects lithium battery cells from overcharging, deep discharge, overtemperature, and short circuits. It is indispensable for lithium systems – both for safety and for the lifespan of the cells. Wattschmiede assists with selecting the right BMS, correct configuration, and communication with Victron components via the DVCC protocol.
Can Wattschmiede expand or repair my existing system?
Does Offgrid Profi also offer remote configuration and support via VRM?
Through the Victron VRM portal, we can remotely monitor, analyze, and in many cases, configure your system – ideal for systems operated remotely or those used in RVs. Additionally, we offer phone and written support as well as remote diagnostics.
